Dr. Anirudh Devgan is the President and CEO of Cadence Design Systems and a member of its Board of Directors, leading the company’s global strategy and innovation in computational software and hardware. Under his leadership, Cadence has expanded into new and adjacent markets while delivering multiple years of record revenue growth and strengthening its position as a leader in electronic design automation.
Before joining Cadence in 2012, Dr. Devgan served as Corporate Vice President at Magma Design Automation and held both technical and management roles at IBM. Widely regarded as a pioneer in electronic design automation, he has driven groundbreaking advancements by applying massively parallel and distributed computing architectures to develop industry-defining technologies.
An IEEE Fellow and member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering, Dr. Devgan has authored numerous research publications and holds 27 U.S. patents. A graduate of IIT Delhi, he later earned his MS and PhD from Carnegie Mellon University, continuing to shape the future of semiconductor and system design worldwide.
