Ari Daman is an accomplished landscape architect and ecological designer, and the founder and creative director of Public Landscape and Urbanism Studio, or PLUS, with offices in San Francisco, Bengaluru, and Chennai. PLUS is a socially conscious landscape and urban design practice that empowers a new generation of designers to create spaces that deliver meaningful social and environmental impact.Through his work, Ari focuses on shaping landscapes and urban environments that balance ecology, community needs, and long-term sustainability. His projects aim to make thoughtful design accessible while improving quality of life for diverse populations. Beyond design practice, Ari co-founded the Narayanan Family Foundation with Srinivas to advance education, culture, and environmental stewardship. The foundation supports innovation in social and ecological design, AI for social good, and education for underprivileged children. Serving on several nonprofit boards, Ari continues to champion inclusive growth and responsible design — helping build healthier communities and a more sustainable future for generations ahead.
