Bhaskar “BG” Ghosh is a Partner at Silicon Valley venture capital firm 8VC, where he leads the core enterprise software investment practice and helps build disruptive companies across AI-enabled services, BPO, SaaS, and infrastructure. With deep technical and operational expertise, BG works closely with founders to scale next-generation technology businesses and has also co-founded fintech and enterprise software companies through the 8VC Build program.
He serves on the boards of several innovative companies, including Nile, Rocketlane, Yugabyte, Ushur, Spotnana, and Datahub, supporting their growth from early stages to global scale. BG holds a PhD in Computer Science from Yale University and spent his early Silicon Valley career building core technologies and high-performing teams during the hyper-growth phases of LinkedIn Data, Yahoo Ads, Oracle RDBMS, and NerdWallet marketplaces.
Actively engaged in the India–US innovation corridor, BG also supports entrepreneurship, arts, and education initiatives through his family nonprofit SACSA, contributing to a more connected and creative global ecosystem.
