Kash Rangan is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, where he brings decades of experience analyzing and advising the global technology and software sector. Known for his deep industry insight and strategic perspective, Kash has built a distinguished career at the intersection of technology, finance, and capital markets.
Since joining Goldman Sachs in 2021, he has continued to provide thought leadership and market intelligence across the rapidly evolving software and technology landscape. Prior to this, Kash spent over 15 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was widely recognized for his coverage of the software and technology industries. Earlier in his career, he served as a technology analyst at Robertson Stephens & Co., and later as a senior software analyst at RBC Dain Rauscher and Wachovia Securities.
Kash holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering, Madras, an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University, and an MBA from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business.
