Senapathy Gopalakrishnan, known as Kris Gopalakrishnan, is a renowned technology leader and entrepreneur best known as the co-founder of Infosys, one of India’s most influential global technology companies, established in 1981. Over the years, he held several key leadership roles at Infosys, including CEO and Managing Director from 2007 to 2011 and later Vice Chairman, helping guide the company’s growth into a global IT services powerhouse. Following his retirement from executive roles in 2014, he has continued to serve as Non-Executive Vice Chairman.Beyond Infosys, Kris has been an active investor and ecosystem builder, supporting innovation through his business incubator Axilor Ventures, where he has personally invested in dozens of startups and multiple venture funds.
