Sumir Chadha is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of WestBridge Capital, a leading investment firm focused on India, managing over $2.5 billion in capital. For more than two decades, he has been actively investing in India, partnering with high-quality public and private businesses with a strong long-term vision.
He also co-founded Sequoia Capital India, where he played a key role in building one of the region’s most influential investment platforms. Earlier in his career, Sumir worked in the Principal Investment Area at Goldman Sachs and as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, gaining deep experience in strategy and investments.
Sumir holds an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Princeton University. Known for his disciplined investment approach and long-term perspective, he has played a significant role in supporting visionary entrepreneurs and helping build enduring businesses across India.
