Over his career, he has operated in businesses now valued at over 100 billion dollars and invested in companies collectively worth more than 10 billion dollars, reflecting a strong track record in innovation and growth.
He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Playbook Partners, an operator-driven growth capital firm focused on Digital India, where he works closely with entrepreneurs shaping the country’s next phase of digital transformation.
Previously, Vikas served as President at Reliance Jio, helping scale one of India’s largest digital platform businesses across ecommerce, fintech, media, and telecom, contributing to its rapid growth to a 100-billion-dollar market capitalization. Earlier, as Managing Director and CEO of Aimia Inc., he built a joint venture with the Tata Group and led the successful sale of its ecommerce business to Reliance Retail.
With over two decades of investing experience, he has backed several category-defining companies on their journey to becoming unicorns, including InMobi, Myntra, Fractal, PolicyBazaar, Nazara, Rapido, and NSE.
